About Me

My father, Milton Jeansonne was with the 600th Sq of the 398th BG stationed at Nuthampstead.  He was a part of ground support which generally meant loading the B-17 planes with bombs and ammo.  I have only recently, thanks to these wonderful web sites, been able to fully trace his foot steps from Basic training in North Dakata to Nuthampstead.

Hi Nancy,

To answer your question, my grandfather flew P-38s and later P-51s. He flew bomber escort missions for the B-17s and B-24s.
